If the Tutorials & Downloads thread wasn't retired i would've posted this there. The other day i was looking for free 3d models and i stumbled upon www.sharecg.com. The site has a Web 2.0 look, so it's not one of those really ugly model sites. It has lots of free models, textures and a bunch of nice video tutorials. What's cool about the site is that everything on it is free, you don't have to pay for anything. Most model sites have a "free" section with ugly models and a section with nice commercial models. The guys from ShareCG encourage people to upload stuff by paying them from ad revenue. They pay very little at the moment, but it's enough to get people to upload some nice models. I have some old models that aren't perfect, so i wouldn't sell them. I'm uploading them to sharecg. You can check out the models i've uploaded here. yeah sharecg.com is a great new site for sharing artwork, free tutorials and free resources. you can also watch animations and short film. Thanks AoM Ghost for bringing this up :)
