hello , i''ve got some problem with inventor.lib and openAL.lib ! when i compile some demo progs under Win VC5++ i''ve got that error : C:\Program Files\DevStudio\VC\LIB\inventor.lib : fatal error LNK1106: invalid file or disk full: cannot seek to 0x3a5abd11 Error executing link.exe. or C:\Program Files\DevStudio\VC\LIB\OpenAL.lib : fatal error LNK1106: invalid file or disk full: cannot seek to 0x3a5abd11 Error executing link.exe. So i dont understand .. this libs come from official web sites ! ftp://ftp.openal.org/pub/openal for OpenAL http://www.nigels.com/glt/ for Inventor . "invalid file or disk full" - is your hard drive full? The problem may not be in the files at all, your HDD may be crammed with stuff or its trying to write to a bad sector.

that errors got nothing to do with your HD. it means the library was compiled with vc6. the only way around it is to find a library that was made for vc5, you might have to build your own
