I am wondering if it is possible to do this? I know windows has thr SendKeys equivalent.

KDE generally implies Qt. I'm unsure if Qt provides its own method as I'm not fluent in its use. Xlib provides a method (XSendEvent), but it will negate some of the portability that using only KDE libraries and Qt would normally offer.
