Not sure if people have seen this, but over at The Escapist there is a four-part series written by Warren Spector on Next-Generation Storytelling. Part One: What Makes a Story?Part Two: How Do We Tell Stories In Games?Part Three: Virtual Story/Virtual StorytellersPart Four: Conclusions I thought about posting this in the Writing For Games forum, but since it's germane to game design in general, I thought it would do well to be discussed here. Any chance of a summary? Escapist articles are usually relatively long and it looks like that one is 4x as long as usual.
