Game Design and Development Laptop
I am just looking to get a little advice on a laptop for school. I need to purchase a laptop that will run all major game design programs smoothly and if you have OCD like me, EXTREMELY SMOOTH!!! I was originally going to go with a laptop from Ibuypower.com but I then realized all their graphic cards in the laptops are 256MB when I could get a dell with 512MB. The only thing is, Ibuypower.com has a better core system for cheaper.
I'm looking to spend about $2,500 - $3,000. I'd like to keep it to $2,600 as much as possible but depending on the type of laptop I may spend the extra $$$. I'm not too focused on features. I just need it to be a beast! Is there any other websites that you have heard of that allows you to customize your laptop system?
Anyways, any help would be great! I figure you all would know a little bit more about the software I will be using and what some requirements may be as far as computer specs go. Laptops are a whole new ball park for me but unfortunately the class requires a laptop. I wish I could just drag my desktop around!!
Thank you!
Wrong forum again mate, and please don't cross post. The moderators will move your original post when they spot it. You don't need to make a new one.
It should be in the Hardware Discussion forum, and it will probably be moved by a moderator sooner or later, so please don't repost.
