If you could take Second Life, what would you change about it to imrove it? I would make the learning curve drastically less. Maybe somehow make the game more like Garry's Mod. I really like the concept of the players creating their own world. Games like Falling Sand, Garry's Mod, Second Life really spark my interest.
I beta-tested SL when it first came out and the biggest thing that struck me was that the scripting language in game was hard to understand. That kept me from really getting all I could out of the game. If they were to make the scripting language more user-friendly, that would help a lot.

Also, it would be awesome if they gave the player enough control over objects to script them to have AI. Players could make their own games in SL for people to play. While I was subscribed, there was a big move to make an in-game RPG. It never came to fruition though. There just wasn't enough control to allow for quests and combat.

Possibly a visual programming lanquage ???

I played with Alice for a bit to see how their visual programming interface worked

The lack of interactivity in SL makes it IMO little more than a 'pretty' chat room......
