100 Quests is a 4 player partygame, similar to a board game in some ways. However, it has many advanced elements, such as turn-based strategy, character development, magic, items, weapons, armor, and army-building. Find heroes (Warriors, Spies, Diplomats and Wizards) who can help you, or hire units (Infantry, Archers, Horsemen, Catapults and Magicians). Also four unique races, each with unique weapons, artwork, music, and units! Anyway, we're moving along with production of the game, we have a lot of content and we just put up some screenshots on our website. Please visit our site www.dinosaurlightning.com/ddf! The screens on the site are early ones. Give us some comments!

Do you have actually questions or subject matter to talk about as it goes with Game Design? Or are you just trying to get attention?

Care to explain more about your game and what makes it new and interesting?

Well I suppose my question is, has anyone ever played a game whose design meets these criteria:

> Turn based combat

> Randomly generated maps/quests

> Heroes/other RPG elements

> functioning Multiplayer

I personally have been looking for a game like this for a long time and I have found games that meet SOME of those criteria, but not all. So that's why I'm making this game. From a design perspective, does anyone have any thoughts about it?

But yeah I also just wanted attention. =]

When I first read this it sounded like you were trying to imitate the new multiplayer Zelda game, but from the description it doesn't. It is a TBS, right? Also, what is a "million?" "Six millions" isn't very descriptive. Six million whats?
Signature go here.
haha. it's kind of a joke, and a big part of the game will be that kind of text - sort of ambiguous, seems like it was translated improperly-type text. Basically the title of the game is 100 Quests: Donpan's Millions. Donpan is the main "bad guy", and one of the game modes is "donpan's millions."

In this game mode, you have to find collect 6 "Millions", a "million" in this case is just a coin, and it's ambiguous as to whether it's worth a million dollars or not - it won't be a sellable item, it's a quest item after all.

So you can kill other players and steal the millions they have collected etc, and at the end the person with the 6 millions has to return to donpan and fight him for them.

Here's a picture of the donpan Million:

but my game design question still stands: do you know of a game that meets ALL of these critera:

> Turn based combat

> Randomly generated maps/quests

> Heroes/other RPG elements

> functioning Multiplayer

Let me know

I'm closing this on the grounds that it's basically spam.
