On the bright side, if this program was in a large bundle of applications that could be used for game development, and if it was priced comfortably -- then it would definately sell.

If you included sample source code for a game that used terrain files built with your program, then it might be more attractive to beginner hobby coders.

Say, for $25-$75 you get a level editor and the skeleton source code for an RTS or an adventure game or something...

when im trying to go in on http://www.freewebs.com/proffessor_gad/products.htm
i get a proken link. Is it down?
That link should work fine (I just went there and it worked fine).

So the main idea that I picked up is that I should continue updating my program (perhaps in the direction of an RTS editor) until it grows into a monster program that reels in big mulla?...

Well anyways, I did get my first customer. So I guess that answers my question b/w.

If you have any more suggestions, there's plenty of space in this thread for your opinions!

(P.S. I have a friend thats going to work as website editor, for an rts-type game. My friend's pal has an uncle who was the head behind a big game called "Final Fantasy" -- many of you probably know of it.)

Wow! Hironobu Sakaguchi is your friend's friend's uncle? That's like only 3 degrees of separation, tomodachi! \(^_^)/ Can we bow down to you? m(-_-)m
