Concept WIPs (playable) - feedback wanted
Hey all, I've been trying to realise a couple of vague ideas I had for a few simple skill games, mainly to be able to play around with them and see what works and feels right. I was hoping to get some feedback on where to take these (all this leftbrain programming is surpressing the creative right side! :p). They're still very simple, currently just placeholder graphics and sounds. There are no points/rewards or anything like that so please consider these as test environments at most. I was planning to include a few simple input boxes so that you would be able to play around with some value's, but today I have some other things to tend to, so that will have to wait. I'm looking for feedback on several things, - gameplay mechanics (how can I make it more fun/challenging) - theme/setting (what kind of setting would work) - anything you want to add (ideas, variations, anything) I'm also into 3d graphics, so elaborate ideas for graphics are very welcome. Keep in mind though that these are flash games so all actual images are 2d or semi-3d at most. MagnetBall - idea specifically for wii (online), so controls are limmited to pointer and (possibly) click, for now spaceCowboy - slight variation of the game above SpaceGame - gravity related gameplay, size of planet/graphic determines gravitational force SpaceGame variation - control variation to increase playfield, may add in a little 'deadzone' in center to move without following camera. The spacegame thing needs quite a bit of balancing value's, and I'm still not sure what to do with it. I think a gravity racer/fighter would work well, some of the bigger planets (gravity) can provide some really awesome & fast turns. Let me know your thoughts!
