Getting Sound Effects

I like programming games, but two things I have difficulties with are graphics and sound. The past few games I've made have had some decent gameplay (in my opinion), but the art and sound made them sub-par and not very attractive to play. They looked more like technical demos, rather than actual games despite my best efforts. Anyways, for my next game I wanted to change that. Art I've usually been able to gather pieces from here and there and make them sorta fit a decent theme together, however with sound I haven't been able to find anything that I'm looking for, at least not in a 'game sounding' quality. So I was wondering if anyone has any tips on better improving my search for sound, or learning to create my own. Below I've listed a couple of sounds that my next game could possibly need if it helps in further assisting me on my quest :). Keyboard typing (Found on Findsounds.com, but all of them had a background humming noise) RPG style scrolling text (That sound old games use to make when characters talked and the text appeared on screen. Kind of a phone ringing sound but more high pitched and faster)

There doesnt seem to be a lot of information regarding game specific audio. The information on your site seems more focused on how much you guys get paid when using your studio. Apparently the comfortable couch is free, but do you guys offer sound packs? How much per custom sound? I dont need an entire production studio, is there something more reasonable for the indie market?

BTW: your sound real is of great quality - I am just not on a movie sized budget.
This site was mentioned to me by a friend of mine. This license conditions on the sounds vary so you'll have to check depending on your requirements.
