I am trying to get gluLookAt() to work as a camera function - but it fails! Perhaps I am setting up my prjection or modelview matrix wrong. I set up a triangle in cooridinates (0,1,0),(-1,0,0),(1,0,0) and I would like to get the following to work gluLookAt(1,1,1, 0,0,0, 0,1,0) But it fails... Why? What is the proper syntax for this? Please Help! Thanks! John William Blair
Thanks!John William Blair "The path of the righteous man is beset on all sides by the inequities of the selfish and the tyranny of evil men. Blessed is he who, in the name of charity and good will, shepherds the weak through the valley of the darkness. For he is truly his brother's keeper and the finder of lost children. And I will strike down upon thee with great vengeance and furious anger those who attempt to poison and destroy my brothers. And you will know my name is the Lord when I lay my vengeance upon thee."

gluLookAt( 75, 75, 75, // eye
0, 0, 0, // center
0, 1, 0 // angle (or something like that)
);

The syntax seems correct. Try moving father away from the trangle as ''ArmouredCore2001a'' suggested.
