Kinda random, I know, but I was wondering if anyone here know of any good resources for finding floor plans and/or blue prints of machine and tool shops?

For finding them? You mean just random ones? Google Image Search has hundreds of blueprints for all sorts of structures, though I'm not sure specifically about machine shops.

Otherwise, B&N probably has books highlighting examples (much like many showcasing architecture blueprint books), just ask a worker.

No offense man, but your post wasn't exactly helpful. Of course I've google imaged already. Finding residential and miscellaneous random floor plans of offices is pretty damn easy. I'm looking for a good resource specifically for manufacturing plants. And on the book idea, generally no, that won't work. I actually have a architectural drafting book and it doesn't really cover that. My wife actually works at Borders.

I know that floor plans are accessible to the public through your local courthouse or whatever. Does anyone have any specific experience with this?
