New orchestral Work. Tides I actually would like to use this particular theme for a musical. Transplant the piano with a voice and there you go...maybe. It is very RANGE-Y. The voice would very nearly require a two octave range. I was thinking perhaps I could split up the melody for two people if it came down to it...sorry. I do love to go on and on and on and on and on. Anyways, The composition is fairly simple and was more of an exercise in orchestration than anything else. It was also a mixing exercise. I feel that I am starting to get the hang of mixing (with a few artifacts to complete invalidate my opinion). I've working pretty hard on refining my technique recently so its nice to see "some" results. I haven't implemented dynamics yet in the orchestration but I could sure use some pointers on that from some of the fine musicians here! Thanks Ryan
