Hey guys. Does anyone know any good resources for if you're just learning 3DS max 8? Where should a noob like me start? I found 3 tutorials on the actual website, do you think that they'll suffice?

Buy a book, its a fairly complex program and books are reasonably cheap (atleast when you compare them to the pricetag on 3dsmax)

Buy lynda.com tutorials, it is for max 6 but there is no big difference between 6 and 8 if you want to learn the basics. Great video tutorials :)

also, the tutorials packed with 3ds max are usually pretty good too... so many people overlook them.
