Need help? Well, go FAQ yourself.
What a plight we who try to make a story-based game have...writers of conventional media have words, we have but binary numbers
Perhaps combine all the idea's in a game?

It''s a great idea to combine all of the ideas into your game, it just might take some time to sort them out and tie them in properly. Make sure that the game doesn''t turn into some wacky Japanese kind-of game (unless of coarse you want to make that kind of game). But above all, make sure the game''s fun. If it''s not fun, it''s technically not a videogame.
Wow... This topic is... old
I''m afraid it died, though. Noone ever posts at the forums anymore, so we all went back to our own little projects... Perhaps we could try again, some other time...?

Just have to say something; This seems to be a lovely idea!
However, what about a spellcasting system, that allows you to "morph" two spells to make a new one inherreting the two´s abilities( with a slight loss of efficency)? Maybe even create your own spells? I''ve been thinking about this for a while now...
However, the randomized arc. you were talking about couldn''t be that much of a problem could it?
