I am wondering how the artist made this really artistically cool video. Watch the video and tell me what you think. My gut instinct is probably a combination of Adobe After Effects and some other fancy program. If you go to www.64seconds.com, click on the "The Show" link, and then do a category search for Motion Graphics. The name of the video is "volo di Icarus". This video has a picture of a green meadow and a tree. Please watch it and tell me how they made it because I would like to create something with a similar style! Thanks.
Its all done in After Effects, using digital video, photos, Photoshop, and Illustrator. No 3D as far as I can tell (except for 3D layers in AFX).

All I get is some annoying squatter page...
gsgraham.comSo, no, zebras are not causing hurricanes.
thanks Professor,

that's good news for me as I do have after effects 6.5

but how did he do the animations, like the butterflies flying around and the roots and branches of the tree spreading out?

i can understand them being videos, but how would you go about CREATING those abstract/stylistic videos?

any guesses on the filters and/or modes that he could've used?
I get the same thing as Avatar God, just squatter-oblivion.
