Game Soundtracks: OLD SCHOOL
Hello, I am a game designer for an indie studio in Atlanta, and a musician. We specialize in old school, 2d style games. Here are some tracks I made for various game projects. The quality varies, as some are from when I was 15 or 16 up until recent work. I am really more of an orchestral composer, but I like the good old days of game soundtracks.
First time posting here, so please don't be too harsh :)

Some excellent pieces of music. I must have listened to 'Desolate World' atleast 5 times. Also, your website is kickass.
Wow. I enjoyed listening to every one of your pieces.
Right on man.

Thanks everyone! Yeah some of the tracks are better than others though lol. I have some more orchestrated-style tracks which I could post if anyone is interested. That is more my preferred style, that of cinematic rpgs/epic fantasy.
The ones here are the more 'gamey' tracks I have done. Thanks again!

Post the other ones. People always love to hear new music. :) And welcome. A lot of your music reminds me of some of the good music from the 80's.

Sam,
Thanks for your kind email and also sharing all of this music with us! You have a nice style and I like your choice in instruments. What samplers and programs do you use? I use mostly Sonar 4 and East West Symphonic Orchestra for my orchestral pieces. For other pieces I use East West Colossus, Reason 3 and Sonar 4 together.
I'd love to collab with you, as you mentioned.
Good work on "Legend of the Wilds". Everything has a nice flow and form to it. My favorite sections were around 2:45(nice use of texture) and the ending brought everything together nicely for that "big finish". You definitely have some composition chops! :)
I'll send you some more of my stuff.
Cheers,

I use cubase sx for all composition. Garritan Personal Orchestra, some VSL, and also some dan dean brass are my primary instruments. I would love to use more but that is all I can afford being poor lol, and has taken me a few years just to get these.
Here are some more orchestral style tracks, these are for a big space rpg/rts project:

The_Void.mp3
Thanks for all the positive feedback!
