Hello, we are several students in Boston, and we are going to make a small game to enter Independet Game Festival Student Showcase this year, (http://www.igf.com/03submit.html), the deadline is Nov,10. Currently we have enough design, management, programming, but lack artist. We have heavy course work so basically we work in weekends. If you are interested in join us as an art lead, please email me jzz@mit.edu with some digital art you made and you like. Ideally you are an art student who want to gain some experience in game crafting. Also if it plays well in the competition, there are some friends who can probably help us get some revenus from it afterwards. After all it is aimed to be small and worked in a leisure basis, warming up in the field and having fun is our major goals. by the way we are very friendly and easy-going. :) zp
by the way, the game design itself has not been fully completed, and the design actually requires some involvement of the art lead. basically we just want to list all we have (skills, etc.) and see what we can make out of it. currently we are thinking about a novel racing game (cuz it's simple), but we may change it if people's interest want it other ways.
