Anyone here use Milkshape3D?
I have Milkshape3D and would like to take some models I have and set the bottom of them to zero as the origin. Some of my models are not set to zero and are positioned very high on Y axis. I am new to anything that has to do with modeling... Thanks for the help.
the models I am using aren't positioned at 0,0,0 mainly Y = 0; where the bottom of the building or truck ect... is at 0. They are all off a bit due to the person who made them decided to make y = 0 somwhere else on the model so when its placed at zero in my engine it moves the model to zero, but it may be at the top of the models roof or windows. Hope that clears up what I am having issues with.
Eh... just drag the object to be situated where you want it to be and then just resave it.

perhaps he is talking about the pivot point of the object?

Open, or import (depending on the file-type), the files in Milkshape, select all vertices (Ctrl + A), select Move mode (F2) and drag the model around untill it lines up with the y-z plane. Restricting movement to the y-axis only might be helpfull here (press 1 and 3 to disable x and z axis movement). Then save the file and everything should be fine.

I am trying to move with my mouse the whole model but the camera rotates around and doesn't allow me to move the model? Thanks
In Milkshape, you can't perform actions in the 3D view, only in the 2D views.
