I don''t know about that, since the macs uses a AGP port also, it should be possible to buy a Geforce 3 from whoever sells it for the mac, and then use the latest drivers on it.

I also don''t think you will see a price change anytime soon, it will most likely be the same price for mac or pc.

I also question the 4x as fast, it might be 4x as fast as some things, but not everything.

For those of us that have little $$$ to spare, seems we will have to wait for Geforce 3 MX. (I am guess it will come out 6 months after the normarl Geforce 3 appears)

Well the Geforce 3 is about 2 times faster for normal operations (fill rate) and up to 7 times faster (according to nVidia) if all of its features are put to work. So I''d expect a realistic increase of a little over 2 times in speed. But, you do get the addition of a lot of extra features .

I''m just hoping it drives the Geforce 2 prices far enough down so I can get a GTS or Pro .
