Some models for my RTS
Just wondering what people think. Im working on an RTS. So far I have 10 models done (all aircraft). Here are the US planes. And I'm not an artist at all so keep that in mind if you wish to criticize.

Some wireframes would help alot more in critique... they look good, they just need better textures, as right now they look like little plastic toys instead of low-res destruction machines. Overall, good job, there can still be some improvement in efficiency though (again, wireframes would really help give me a better idea).

Definately not bad at all if your new to this stuff, one thing I would say is study the planes and add some of the panel lines/ailerons/details etc just to help make em look a little more realistic!! Good job!!
The wings on the bottommost bomber need the most work, and overall I think the cockpit windows (is that the official name? :P) all need an overhaul. Beyond that, you have some pretty cute little models there.

if you could, dirty up those textures. they look way to clean, some dirtyness added to the textures will increase the look of the models a lot.

Yea. Does anyone use a freeware paint program and have a tutorial on how to dirty up textures? I planned on this with gimp but havent gotten to it, plus I didnt see any tutorials for this on the gimp website.

use google to find a plugin for gimp, there is one that changes gimps interface to be like photoshops, that way you can follow photoshop tutorials while using gimp (except for photoshop specific stuf of course).
as for how to dirty them up, just add scratches, dark areas and so on, just to make ti look more natural.
