Crazy Mutant Powers
I'm making a computer game where players command a mutant squad against various enemies. There is also the possibility to do research (into implants or inducing mutations), reconaissance and training (against holograms/ robots). To make it easier to understand what I'm aiming for, you could compare it to syndicate. I have the possibility to add around 300 mutant powers, but coming up with 300 has proved harder than I had thought. When reading through old comic books, a lot seems to be coming down to superstrength, superspeed, invisibility or flying. I don't mind crazy powers. The only notable restriction is that the power should be reasonably clear by it's name alone and should be 18 characters or less (less is better). So can you help me? Here's what I got: Frog Leap Regeneration Flight SuperStrength SuperSpeed Invisibility SuperSenses Shrinking Elastic WaterMorph FireMorph Mentalic PointyNose ElectroShock RandomPower Teleportation Telekinesis Pyrokinesis It's okay if you don't read these or from other posts and just write the mutant powers you come up with. Thanks in advance, I'll be sure to post a link when it is playable.

Take a peek at the new X-men film, there's a load of odd powers you can take from that...
Ability to grow wings,
Ability to nullify other people's powers,
Ability to blow stuff up,
Ability to become a porcupine,
Inability to act,
etc.

Call me stupid but I wasn't aware that there was a difference between the two...
X-Ray vision,
Communication with animals,
Mind reading,
Lasers from the eyes/fingers/toes,
Transforming into a fax machine
I always liked the Controller power from City of Heroes that lets you pull an aribtrary object (randomly selected) from all the decently-sized meshes in the level, and hurl it at an opponent.
Out of thin air, a car/safe/lightpole appears, and you throw it at a bad guy, causing crushing damage. Nice.

enum Bool { True, False, FileNotFound };
a power I always loved was "walking through the shades"...
You simply walk up to a shady corner, use your power and see your toon walking out of another shady corner, somewhere else on the map.
What is fun with this power is that, most of the time, it's completely useless, because you don't know where you're gonna land. There is no telling you if you're gonna jumpstart your adventure by landing right in front of the Holy Gizmo of Perfect Level Score, or right behind two dozens homicidal maniacs on the loose. And that you have to wait some time before using it again.
Being able to use the shades of ANY level to land in ANY level of the game would be fun, though.
And coming out of the shades to find yourself locked in a cupboard would make for a nice rescue mission...

Just out of curiosity: what does this mutation do?
I have to admit, that was a red herring. I'm glad someone caught it.
Everybody thanks for the suggestions!
