Difference between Commercial License and Non-Commercial License?
For sample: Indie Game License and Commercial License of Torque Game Engine? Only their EULA is different? Or their function is different?
From it's official site(www.garagegames.com):
Torque Game Engine SDK "Indie" License $100.00 USD
Torque Game Engine SDK Electronic Distribution. Grants access to private forums and documentation.
- Limit 1 per customer.
Download Size: 57.9MB
Torque Commercial License $495.00 USD
TGE Commercial License Electronic Distribution. Grants access to private forums and documentation.
Download Size: 51.9MB
So their size seem different?
If their content are same, why users use the costly one? and how to detect if customers comply the License? what to do if users don't comply the License?

The difference is that non-commercial is for use by individuals on small projects that will generate revenue below a certain level and commercial is for companies that generate revenue in excess of $250,000.
Quote: The following restrictions apply to the use of this Engine:
(a) This license is granted to individuals only, and cannot be owned by corporate or business entities.
(b) Licensee may not use the Indie License if the annual revenue of the Company employing, partnering, or affiliated in any way with the Licensee is greater than $250,000 annually. Companies that grow to greater than $250,000 annually must upgrade to the Torque Commercial Product License for each seat of the Torque.

You know, unless you are planning on suddenly making more than $250,000 a year from your games framework, or unless the framework is the collaborative effort of a company that makes $250,000 a year, you can still sell your framework with an indie license provided you actually bought it.
