Hello all! We are porting our Rainbow Web game from MS Windows to Mac OS X. The work is almost finished; unfortunately we only have Mac Mini with Mac OS X 10.4 so we couldn't test the game on other configurations. I’d like some testing on different computers and Mac OS versions, please. Here’s the link to the current beta-version: http://www.SugarGames.com/files/RainbowWebMacBeta.zip (no Universal Binary at this moment, only a PowerPC version). The game makes a lot of image processing (alpha channel calculations), and we’ve done this with vImage library, so I’d really appreciate some testing under Mac OS 10.2 and 10.3 (I don’t expect the game to run fast in 10.2, I only hope it can start Please let me know the following information: 1) You computer specifications (CPU speed, RAM, video card). 2) The Mac OS version. 3) Was the game fast enough to play (in both Windowed and Full Screen modes)? 4) How playable the game is? Also, a couple of suggestions. You might get more traffic if you posted in Help Wanted ('seeking beta testers'), or perhaps Your Announcements. Also, perhaps you could linkify the urls in your post.
