i am going to start really trying to learn how to model humans, and so i need 2-3 human reference images from the front and side. any links? thansk!

sorry for the late reply. i may consider that site but for someone who can't (well shouldn't) be spneding extra money i would appreciate some free reference images. they mainly just need to show the basic outline of a human from teh front and side in a modeling reference pose. so any help here? thanks

Honestly, if you're over 18 and aren't too bashful, there is an infinite world of pornography on the internet (yes, even the tasteful kind) - basically offering you limitless anatomy references. It beats dishing out cash for anatomy books.

hmmmm... i never thought of that, i'll give it a try.

I'll second that. True story, I figured out how to correctly model a female breast while watching some late-night HBO porn (the definition and form between the deposit and muscle, how the breast sits on the muscle/bone, etc.).

You could also try extracting game characters and taking renders of them for reference.
