Game Story Scripts
What is the best format for Game Stories? I know that it is very much differant than like a novel or a movie because there are parts where the player has control and in some cases the actions the player make will have an effect on the story. So should it be writen like a Movie Script, with some branching, or should it be more descriptive like a novel, with branching?

Movie or comic book script plus flowcharts for the branching parts.
I want to help design a "sandpark" MMO. Optional interactive story with quests and deeply characterized NPCs, plus sandbox elements like player-craftable housing and lots of other crafting. If you are starting a design of this type, please PM me. I also love pet-breeding games.

Do you have an example that you could show?
This is something I've always had trouble with also... I tend to use a sort of bastard hybrid of screenplay format, prose and asterisk notes.
Yeah, i know how to write script format but comics i do not.

Comic book script format is basically the same as movie except with a lot more description of what things should look like. I don't really have any good example since my current project hasn't reached the script stage yet, but I'll look around my hard drive and see if there are any lurking about.
