MipMap or Bitmap and OpenGL ver 1.21 ??

Hiya all, where''s the difference between gluBuildMipMaps and creating a standard texture ?? Besides, does ne1 know how to get the newest Delphi conversion of the Open GL Headers ??
Obviously you didn''t have checked what each means...

The GLU function create a MIPMAPPED texture, and not a texture.
I suppose you know how mimapping works and the visual difference this will make in your app, choosing one or the other.

Hi,
I did not see any visual differnce between a linear filtered texture and a MipMap texture except that the mipmap is darker.
What I wanted to know is the PERFORMANCE DIFFERENCE ...
