Its been done several times. I can't remember the specific names of the titles, but it has been done.

I love curling, so I would suppose it COULD be fas fun to play it, if done correctly. just as fun as a pool game, or darts game. Meaning that it would probably appeal only to a very limited population.

I suppose that the hardest part would be the aiming, directing and force-giving part. The brushing could be done easily, with the cursor "brushing" against the screen, and modifying the constants of slide through a frequency calculation...
Yours faithfully, Nicolas FOURNIALS

If you can remember any over the weekend I'd love to hear about 'em/look them up.

It has none of the nuance of real curling, but I guess you could call Cow Curling "Curling as a video game".

This is the only instance I know of.

(P.S. Curling is addictive! I turn it on and I can't stop watching. If I could just find some people to play with!)

The only curling game i'm aware of is Granite. Apparently there has been work on a sequel, but I don't know if it's still in development, here's some screenies.

I give it a "yes", though I wouldn't pay for it. :D
There can be variations of the game. There was this spoof show on TV that had people on office chairs (the ones with the little wheels at the bottom) playing that game. They were the ones on the chairs sliding down the "field".
yes if it was free and i could play it in a browser
Hey, chair curling is really fun!

I will admit the sport is so so boring to watch, but then again, most are, but it still is fun to play. A good computer sim of it could be really fun I think. but again, not something I would pay any more than $5 for. and it would have to be a damned good game to get even $5 out of me for it.
