free modeler with explicit vertex values.

There's a simple feature that I'd like that neither Milkshape, Blender or anim8or seem to have, unless I've over-looked it. I'd like to be able to translate vertices to explicit values that I type in somewhere. I would like some precisely sized meshes so that I can tile them. For example: A box where one corner is at the origin where the length and width are exactly 1.0 and the height is exactly 3.0. Milkshape and Anim8or only have mouse controls where I can't get the values I want and Blender is the same, but the coordinates shown are not relative to the origin. Does anybody know of a tool that does what I need (I only plan to make fairly simple models) or a plugin for any of the tools mentioned?
In blender, you can do it while in edit mode (tab), select the vertex you want to move, and then go into the "Transform Properties" (n-key).

Not exactly what you want, but what I do with Milkshape is save it in Milkshape Ascii file format. I can then clean up the positions in the text file using Notepad and reimport it into Milkshape.

Thanks ya'll.

tag: good idea. It was easy enough for my box.

jflanglois: I'll take a look at it again. Blender has so many little features it's easy to miss things.
In Blender, when you have the transform properties window open, it has a button pair "global/local" with which you can toggle the frame of reference for the coordinates.

Truespace 3.2 (google serach it)

Once the object is selected right click on the cursor interface button and there are the fields there.
