export 2D vector shape import with Blender
Hello... I'd just like to create a 3D application icon, using a (vector) shape I've created in PSP 7. Is there no way to export that shape from PSP to something Blender can import? Thanks. Chad

Any suggestions on how to do this, maybe?
I used to have a 3D rendering program, but I never used it much.
I'd like to create something that looks like a 3D road sign that's a little bent in the middle... (a merge sign, to be exact)... with the usual lighting, etc...
Thanks again and greetings
Chad

You want to export it as vector art (EPS) or raster art (TGA, BMP)?
Look for a tutorial on rendering, if its the latter. The former isn't usually possible off the bat, though you should be able to find a script or plugin to take a toon shader or something similar and export the results as vector.
