Would I need a license for this?

My team and I have a good idea for a fighting game but I don't know if its something we would need to acquire a license for. Its an idea for a Muay Thai fighting game. We are not going to use the names of any real people though. All of our fighters are made up. But since Muay Thai is Thailands most recognized sport and tradition, would we have to get a license before we made something like that? On that note, would we need to get licensed to display the flags of other countries in the game along with the names of real world locations? Thanks.
While I'm not a lawyer (so I may be wrong about this: standard disclaimer for all legal issues! [smile]), I'd highly doubt you need to license an implementation of a sport. You probably would need a licence if you were basing your game on a official league, but if you are making up the names of the fighters and using a made-up competition system then you should be fine.

I also am pretty sure it's safe to use nations flags and the names of real world locations in your game.
