THIS recent thread in the lounge sparked an idea in my head. he made a request for a photoshop image because he or she wasnt good at photoshop and gave the specefications and everything...and i was suprised that a few people acutally made what he requested i too am not good AT ALL at photoshop so i thought maybe I or someone else could start a thread for people who were not very good at photoshop but wanted a signature or something that required photoshop done. it would be only for people who were truly not good at photoshop and they could put in there detailed request for a photoshopped image...so then people who were really good at photoshop could come in and help the helpless person out. now we would just have to trust people that make the requests that the really are not good at photoshop. and if someone posted WAY to many requests in a ceratin time period we could make an announcemt in the post to not accept those persons requests for a while sort of like them being suspended then if they repeat the "offense" we could "ban" them. so thats as far as i really have developed the idea. *so is this a good idea or not? **could anyone maybe add some more to this idea or develop it more? ***i dont care if you think its good or not i was just expressing my idea if no one really thinks its a good idea then i wont make the thread... ****and if this as already been tried DEFENTLY let me know.lol. *****finally, the reason i posted it in this forum is because the thread, if i make it, will be posted in the lounge and i dont really wana post this thread there then make the thread...thatd be kinda dumb + this is the visual arts forum and photoshopping is visual arts...so thats it: THANKS

I think a good idea is that the requester has to get the source images together and a good description. Much of the time making signatures is the resource/research work. If someone game me two screenshots, and a background, and said "I want image A to fade left to right into the background, and I want the soldier from image B cut out and overlayed on top of the image, and I want this sort of font to say "GameDev.net"" a skilled photoshop user could make that in a few minutes. And this also show the seriousness of the requester.

ya. that is a good idea...it would also make it easier on the person making the photoshop image.

anyone else have anything? comments, suggestions, anything...
