Jean-Michel has been composing snyth/electronic music for the last thirty years. Although, his sound is very different from what you would expect from the '70s and '80s. Rather than being harsh and mechanical, his sounds tend to be more mellow and organic. I guess I like it because he seems to focus less on the music and more of the sound of the instruments themselves and how they interact. These examples at the top kinda put me to mind of some of his stuff in that sense.
