I don''t know that much about linux, but i reason like this:

No Os is perfect, all of them gives you some sort of problems (more or less). As long as you recognize the errors and flaws in a OS you can avoid them (know about them) and still make the thing work. I''m sure Linux also has it''s own problems.

Just a few days ago i installed Windows 2000 Pro wich seems to be a very stable system. I''ve pushed W2K pretty hard the last
days and it''s been running just fine...

I still think i have to try out linux someday.

That bad header file may have slipped past if the warning level was set to low the compiler might not have mentioned it!
Win2k is the best of the Windows variants. It''s based on NT4 and that was very stable. It incorporates a lot of the ease of use of win9x. I''ve noted that a few NT programs wont work on it and a LOT of win9x programs won''t work. That''s my biggest problem with Microcrap. Every new version works differently.
