How Is "Gaming" Colleges like??
I've seen tons of Gaming colleges on commercfial and such...But how are they like DO they need 2 foreign languages courses in order to get in?
But If you join What is it like?? Sau you go in for Game design How is a normal typical day at a gaming college like?? I might be intrested in some game job in a career like design or programming...
Hows it like at a college?? and do they teach you the basics or do they expect you to know stuff?? Like im trying to study C++.
Call me a traditionalist, but I would much prefer going to a "typical" college and getting a degree in something like computer science, or related field. I live down the road from Full Sail, and though I've not visited it yet, I'm pretty skeptical as to how much of a "full package" education you'd really get from going there. The amount of advertising and such that they do is unlike typical colleges and it's my impression that getting a more traditional 4 year degree will do better in terms of making you a more well-rounded person as far as knowledge and general skills. Also, a typical college can expose you to other professional fields such as law, or other sciences that you might end up falling in love with. Lots of people come out of college with a completely different career goal in mind than they entered with. Don't take that opportunity away from yourself.
I know that doesn't directly answer your question - I don't know what the day to day routines are at these schools - but I felt it important to say.

Let's hope novelist isn't it...
Anyways, just because the algorithm/math/physics/economics doesn't involve Elves and Orcs doesn't mean it's not game related.

Either way, please learn to type with correct spelling, grammar, and punctuation. In the long wrong, it'll help you land that job.
i also live down the street from full sail and i feel that i made the right decision by attending UCF and getting a computer science degree. although i dont wish to be a game developer, you end up having to learn calc 1-3, phsyics, linear algebra, etc, which are all used in games. i ended getting into a nice discussion with a fullsail student because apparently i was stupid for taking calc 1 through 3 in 3 semesters because he said he 'learned it all' in a month. im sorry, but you might see everything in 1 month (thats 5 days a week, 8 hours a day of calc), but its not sinking in.
also, after speaking with some people from EA, they all pretty much agree that while they will hire people from fullsail, they take the fact that they have received an accelerated degree vs getting a 4 year degree from an established university.
just my 2 cents.

I will agree with the majority here, you should go with a more traditional course, like computer science.

See, my point is proven bad grammar will lower your credibility.
you're the fool who tried to vorrect me but got owned doing it.
But seriously..So its better iff i take a short course of college in computer science or whatever and then go to fullsail??
My only prob is which college around me has a computer class or C++ class...And won't I have to pay The some amount of money lik ei will at fullsail.
So 60,000 at college + 40,000 from Fullsail= 100,000 worht of college..But yet will it help me??

I would recommend going to a 4 year college and earning a bachelors degree. I wouldn't rely on school to teach you C++ - they're more valuable for the life experience, and the broad amount of core education that you'll be exposed to. It's also valuable to get your first taste with interacting with people that have very different interests, and dealing with those interactions. Sticking yourself in a closed lab surrounded by programmers for long periods of time isn't going to do good in making you a well rounded human being.
Going to college isn't about learning C++, or programming, or getting a game programming job, it's much more general than that; it's about tasting the world, earning opportunities, preparing yourself for a career, and accomplishing the goal of graduating.
