Anyone else noticing the huge number of RPG projects who's names are either "xxxx of yyyy" or the name of the world the game is based in (or both)? C'mon people, use a bit more imagination with your names! Even Tolkien threw in "the" in his RPG. :)
Erm... I'm gonna move you to Game Design I think.

Hmmmm...Guild Wars seems to be the only game I know that doesn't fall to that category
All my posts are based on a setting of Medival Fantasy, unless stated in the post otherwise
I'm naming my RPG

Sword: Legend of The Fallen Heroes of the Dragon Cult of D&D

It's sure to be a winner!

Thats a mouthful!

What about Knights of the Old Republic? Wait... thats just a bunch of words for XXXX and YYYY. Temple of Elemental Evil? No, thats xxxx of yyyy, too. Geneforge! Ha! I win! Gothic? Ha! I win again!

But you're right. RPGs need to get better names like some FPSes.(Half-Life, Far Cry, others). Then again, there are alot of stupidly named FPSes too.

I titled my really old and horrible rpg Fallen Sanctuary. It kinda fit the game and sounds pretty cool. It doesn't fit into those categories.

Final Fantasy?
Agreed, though my bigger complaint is that if somebody is using the "xxxx of yyyy" naming scheme it often means that the game they are making is as cliched as the name.

Some good and different RPG names:

Deus Ex
Neverwinter Nights
Summoner
System Shock
Fallout
