In NeHe bitmapped font tutorial, you use glRasterpos to set the coordinated where the text is going to appear. But it only seems to work if the z component is -0.5f or lower into the screen. The problem is, I want to draw a console at 0.0f and raster text on it. Is there anyway around this.

Also another thing, anyone noticed that spaces are not printed out. They are simply ignored ? Anyone knows either why or a work around this ?
