For a school project in war class, I want to make a 1 level D-Day FPS. If some one could make me some WWII themed models, or give me them, that would rock! I also would like to extend it into a real game after that, so if anyone wants to be on the team, and create a full set of game models too that would rock also! I would need: Characters: USA Infantry with rifle USA Sniper with sniper rifle USA Medic with pdw USA Engineer with rifle USA Infantry with bazooka Germany Sniper with sniper rifle Germany Medic with pdw Germany Infantry with Bazooka Germany Infantry with MP 40 Germany Engineer with rifle Seacraft- USA Aircraft Carrier USA Battleship USA Destroyer Aircraft- USA Fighter Germany Fighter Map- ocean/beach/hills with pill boxes and machine guns/ barbed wire, cement walls/german base behind pill boxes Needs craters as well from shell explosions. Extra USA Grenade German Grenade Shell with effect trail ammo crates medic boxes e-mail me at natekrygier@xiemsoft.com if you can help!
If you search around the net you should find everything you need.

You could just make a map for Day of Defeat: Source (Valves WW2 FPS), or even make a source mod (as the engine is already there for you and you can use the content from DoD: S) to add the extra models/weapons in.

Dont own either of those.
I suggest the Help Wanted forums for threads like these.

My suggestion is you look for one of the possibly HUNDREDS of WWII games/mods that have been released in the past few years. I can't imagine they'd have a problem using existing models/textures/animations, since that is not your focus, and to find someone to do them all specially for this is not a possibility.

I also suggest DoD: Source (or even the original) since the Source engine is very moddable. Not sure how easy it'd be to mod CoD2, for example.

Can some one get me set up and tell me how to get started making mods?
What game would I need to buy to get the source and everything.

If I buy DoD, or Half Life 2... can I import my own models later for other projects?

Are there are any sites that show how to mode the source engine?
