Gamming Business
You need to specify a little more. If you require anything but the basics you'll get a fairly long winded answer, I assume you don't mean peripheral businesses like law firms, recruitment agencies etc, so to get you started..
- Game Developer: Makes games, are funded by..
- Publishers: Essentially venture capitalists, they cover development costs in exchange for a share of unit sales. Will usually take care of distribution and marketing too.
Now, what more do you need to know?

How is a gamming business put together?
The word is gaming. Not gameing, nor "gamming." You're from Ohio, so we have every right to expect better English from you.
Secondly, we have every right to expect better effort from you. You need to describe, in detail, what you want to do, what you can do, what resources are at your disposal, and what, exactly, you want from us. Asking broad, generic questions gets broad, generic (read: useless) answers.
You can do better. So do better.
EmperorMike,
Welcome to the GameDev forums. I noticed you started an earlier thread HERE, essentially asking the same question about a gaming business. In that thread, several people responded with useful information such as booklists, article links, etc...
Yet, you didn't acknowledge the references (not even a "thank you"), but instead came to the "Business" forum and asked again. Did you not find the earlier information useful? Did you so much as investigate or follow up the references?
Believe me, we're not coming down on you. But you have violated GameDev's rule of "no cross posting". Furthermore, and this isn't so much a rule as it is a courtesy, but GameDev is a community. We do things together. We share information and stimulate discussions that [hopefully] enrich our careers and lives. And we certainly enjoy helping fellow members. In your other thread, people were doing just that. I know from experience that showing a little appreciation and initiative in response to the community effort goes a long way.
As Oluseyi and Dogcity have indicated, if you could provide some specific information about starting a game company that interests you, we'd be glad to help.
Again, welcome to the GameDev forums.
Regards,
