I need to load a file and play it, but I don''t know how to do it... Do I have to use Direct Music? I need to us 3D audio and effects... How can I do it?

First, what kind of file (wave, mid, ...) do you want to load? If it is a format that DxAudio can load then you probably should use it.

Have a look at the Dx8 help and demos if you have them. This could probably help you.
