Resume/Etc
I'm graduating in a few months with my CS degree and would like to know if anyone has any pointers for me as far as how a resume should look in this line of work, if someone could provide me with some samples that'd be great. Also, I'd like to know of places such as gamedev and gamasutra that have a help wanted section for professional game companies that I may be able to send my resume off to. Any tips would be appreciated, thanks.
Your best resource is probably the placement office at your school (assuming they have one). More than likely they offer help with those types of things and know what gets people hired. They can probably get your resume to some companies in the area as well.
Of course, Monster.com, et al, provide tons of examples.

I'm moving this to the business forum, as it doesn't really fit in to Help Wanted. If you weren't already aware of it, check the GDNet Game Jobs Listing for positions with professional developers.

When hiring, I am concerned about exactly two things:
Can they do the job?
Will they fit in, or will they cause problems?
That's it.
Everything you submit should be an attempt to answer those questions. For a resume, that means listing what you did and accolades you received, not a list of job titles. For a cover letter, that means showing your personality. For your demos, that means showing you are competent at making something fun.
