I noticed that Nehe has been updating his base code. Which tutorial has the latest update? Should I use tutorial 1 base code? Or another tutorial''s? Thanks

I think that you should make your own basecode..

I agree. The NeHe base is a good start for generic window opening code but you will find that for any specific application the requirements will be different. Also, he made it very user friendly where I, for example, prefer just to keep it simple. I also hate global variables so those had to go.

I believe NeHe has his latest code everywhere - he usually puts his updates into everything.

Most people start from the code in tut 6 as it is pretty complete without too much other extras. Then get the font stuff from his other tutorials.
