Hi all, Ok this is a little problem, with Nehe''s Tutorial 2 and 3 i get a line effect moving up and down on the drawn shapes, when in fullscreen mode on my voodoo 5 5500. This could be a driver problem but i have the newest drivers(non beta)(i now that does mean nothing). Has anyone had this problem. This problem does not show its self when i texture any shape. Ok thanks for any feedback in advance ! 3DG PS happy new year
Might want to tell us what your system is - primarily what OS. I have a Voodoo5 5500 in my Mac, and had no problems with any of the tutorials, but full screen mode on my NT box is kinda screwy and I don''t think it''s related to the video card at all.

Ok yes sorry,

The problem is on my computer which has

running OS win98

CPU : Intel P3 600EB
Mo Bo : Asus (Intel 815e chipset) 4x AGP
RAM : 128mb 133mhz

Thanks 3DG
I''ve got a V5 5500 AGP on [Intel D815EEA] + [PIII 733], but all tutorials work just fine. Can you explain this ''line effect'' deeply?
Ok sorry

The lines go from left to right about every 10 pixels on the y axis

a square like this say 70x70 pixels

This is the same for the triangle.

The lines are grey to black and do not take on the color of the shape.

Thanks 3DG

Did you check if there are any new driver version for the V5500 ?
Does that happen at 16 or 24 bit ?
