Fancy some punk??
Hi, I'm not a game developer myself (i could barely handle a-level computing!) but I work with UK street-punk band, Submerse. The boys are looking to get more exposure for their music and a great way to do that is via being involved in games. You can hear some tracks at their Myspace profile, we've got plenty more than what's shown there and a couple of ska tracks too. http://www.myspace.com/submerse We can send them along to you as mp3s or on CD. Submerse's music is probably best suited to any fast/action scenes, perhaps 'duzzas song' could make it into a shoot-em type game. Of course the lads would love to get paid for anything they're involved in but they would also be willing to work with any students out there too. Get in touch should you be interested in using any Submerse tracks katie [at] submerse.co.uk On a slightly different note, the boys wanted some punk-orientated flash games made for their fanclub to use, it would mean great exposure for any budding game developer out there but the lads couldnt pay much for them (could certainly sort you out with merch and free gigs though!) as they're unsigned and saving for a new tour van/travel money to cover their Canada 2006 tour.
