Hello, I want to make some 3D games. So,I must have 3D software. But I dont know which to chose.Besides I want good and many tutorial for the 3D software as I am the beginner.I want the good 3D modelling software and has many free tutorial in internet.Which software is very good?3DS Max?Milkshape?Lightwave or....what? Thanks
'Good' all depends as what you think of as good. I would personally suggest Blender. It isn't the easiest to learn, but when you can use it, it is an excellent tool, and best part - it is free, and open source (not that you'll ever change the code). I learned how to use it within a week or so, and slowely getting better at using it. I actually prefer it over 3DS Max.

I would go with XSI Foundation, or 3Ds max 7-8 Because thats what all the 3d game design and modeling schools are teaching. once you learn 3ds max or xsi you can do alot more then blender or maya, xsi have awesome visual effects and max has awesome modeling tools, i model with max and rig in xsi and texture in xsi, also xsi is great for animation and making reels,

He said hes a beginner. That being in mind, I doubt he should jump right into 3dsmax. He should probably try something a bit on the softer side, like MS3d.

well i started learning with 3ds max, to me the best way to learn is to just jump right in.

I would suggest XSI. I personally have XSI advanced (4.2) and it is a great tool to have. Modeling and animation is straightforward and simple, and texturing is a breeze.

I started out using XSI in a summer camp, so I was one of the lucky ones =]
however, there are a plethora of tutorials out there for the beginner.

So, go model some cubes and make em move around! =P

good luck!
