Thanks, Iron Chef Carnage.EA is putting about 50% or more of these ideas in thier Next-Gen Fight Night Round 3 game and the new consoles can hold these ideas. You're correct about the structure of my list.I'ma try to find someone to help me organize it in a better way. Thanks again.

If any of you are familiar with the Madden(football) and NBA LIVE(basketball) series there are wishlists on thier website that the game developers and producers use to get ideas for thier up coming games. The majority of sports videogames don't need a storyline .I am going to show you what I mean :

- You know, I have one simple request. And that is to have sharks with frickin' laser beams attached to their heads! Now evidently my cycloptic colleague informs me that that cannot be done. Ah, would you remind me what I pay you people for, honestly? Throw me a bone here! What do we have?
- Sea Bass.
- [pause] Right.
- They're mutated sea bass.
- Are they ill tempered?
- Absolutely.
- Oh well, that's a start.

the "wishlists" for madden and nbalive are completley different because those games are already made. Modifying a game to make it better and creating your own game are two completley different things. Also, those games are made by huge teams with huge amounts of money. While I'm sure many of the things on your lists are ideal ideas for games, I'm sure they aren't things that nobody else has thought of - especially people who actually know anything about making games, and people who are actually trying to make games of that type. Do you have ANY idea what goes into making a game? Especially a game such as that.

Yes, there ARE programmers and game designers here but EA is something completley different. EA is a HUGE company. And even asking them to do all of these things is probably impractical.

Sorry to sound so negative, but it's very ridiculous to read a list like this. Think about if I went and made a big list of every single thing i could think of to make an amazing RPG, and posted it here. It would be a waste of everybodys time. If you are really serious about getting a game made, and have an original idea for it, then start very small. Pitch your idea and try to get some people to help you out with it, if you can't do everything (or anything) yourself. See how that works out, and then build upon that. It takes a lot of time and experience to make "Ultimate" games.

An 8 year old kid, i'm sure, has some amazing ideas for video games. I'm sure they're similar to yours. Now imagine if they went on a website for game developers and told them about this awesome ultimate game... How stupid does that sound?

Here's a couple games with the ideas but no 3D graphics. That's why most boxing fans abroad will not get into them.

http://www.ultimateboxingmanager.com/index.html I talk to this guy alot.

These guys are very low-budget but accomplished alot. The 3D aspect of thier games is what hurts them;there's really none present.

I'm struggling to understand the point of these threads.

Are you planning on developing this yourself, and looking for input on your ideas? If that's the case, break it down into more manageable chunks and concentrate on a specific area per post. For a good example of this, read any of Wavinators posts as already suggested.

Are you just throwing this out so somebody will take up the ideas and make it for you? If this is the case, I'm sorry to say that the chances of this happening are approximately nil. As far as I am aware, nobody on this forum is currently designing a boxing sim, and if they are, they obviously aren't having problems coming up with features or they would have started a brainstorming post.

We don't mind helping you refine your ideas for your own project (provided you focus your posts a bit better, no one wants to trawl through a gigantic list of features with little or no explanation of any of them) but if you're trying to get us to make your game for you then you're out of luck.
