Does any one know of a site to download flat terrain textures for use in a height field? If not, does anyone know of any good tutorials on how to make some?

search for a "texgen" program on google (i think this is the real name) or t2 texture generation program, u can get the idea..

thanks, I checked out the terrain program and it seems like it'll be a big help.

This program lets you paint texture directly onto the terrain wherever you want them.
