Resources for 3d models, textures?

I'm asking this because google search turns up nothing except a load of link to sites that have broken links to other sites. Anyone know of any sites that have free 3d models? preferably in .x format but not required. Thanks.
Why not post in the Art forum? More likely to find help there.

Every so often I find something decent in turbosquid.com you have to look though a lot to find the free ones though.

Hmm those gmax packs on turbosquid look pretty good, considering they're $5. i'll probably just use some placeholders for now though, i'll need to find a .3ds to .x converter though, since thats the only format i'm planning to support in my game.
I've been working on a free pack of urban models for the past couple of months. It's still a long ways from being finished, but if you want to watch how it progresses and offer up some feedback or help, feel free to stop by.

You could even download the WIP files if you want.

That model pack looks cool. Unfortunately i can't really incorporate them into my space game atm...or maybe...Flying coffee tables from outer space! :p

Nice! I'll be taking requests as soon as I get a few things cleared off my plate. Check back in a week or so and see if what I am planning would help you out.

Thanks
Scott

Hi All,
I set up the request section on our forum. If you feel like trying the process out with me and share the models with the community, stop by and have a go of it:
