MS Visual C++ Debuging Levels
What level is the best level to use when compiling source code a level 1* debug, level 2 debug, level 3 debug, or level 4 debug which i is the most sensetive one of them all to warnings?
If your confused about what I'm talking about then go to the menu bar click Project, go down to Settings, move the tabs over until you see a tab with the name C/C++ at the top of it, and go to the drop down box with the name 'Warning level:' above it.

What do you mean by "best"? The level is fully explained in the docs. It is just how ''sensitive'' it is.
Sorry, i didn''t think about that man i was out of it yesterday; well i need to go install the MSDN files now which i didn''t install from the beginning.

I really recommend level 3 or 4. Some of the warnings at level4 are tough, but you can remove a lot by making explicit casts and it will help you find bugs you wouldn''t have otherwise.
If there is something you absolutely can''t get rid of in the warnings, you can use:
#pragma warning( disable : xxxx )
...
#pragma warning( default : xxxx )
around the offending code block (xxxx being the warning number) - useful for MS headers such as mmsystem.h
