Good day! I have created a story to be used as a concept in a network game which I think could make a great impact on the gaming industry since it has a 'worldwide' appeal so to speak. Im not a programmer but I can make use of my entrepreneurial inclination to make this a reality to be a market success. Anyone with the technical knowledge willing to endeavour on this project? Please let me know. Thanks and regards
You didn't exactly give us any information on this concept.

If by that you mean "I have the large sums of money to fund the expensive development process" then you need to say so clearly. If what you have is an idea for a game then post in the Help Wanted forum to try to get a team of hobby developers together. - But be warned Help Wanted is full of such posts. Unless you actually have a skill that will be useful during development such as programming, art, level building skills (as opposed to just having ideas for levels that others will have to build) then it will be tough to get anyone interested.

Such ideas are a dime a dozen 'round these parts.
He's right. If you find a group of expert code-writers with no imagination whatsoever that are sitting around, drinking coffee and waiting for somebody with a great idea, no skills, and no experience to lead them to game-making glory, you need to lock them in a basement and rent them out to the GameDev community, because you aren't the only one with great ideas and no way to realize them.

Great Ideas I have: 1 billion

Games I've made: Well, there was this number-guessing game I made on my TI-85...

You know, I'm not far from that description. I absolutely love programming, modeling, animating, sound editing, composing, character/weapons/level designing, etc. And I think I'm decent at most of them, programming being my root skill. But when it comes to designing the overall game, I feel like I'm running in circles. I know what elements make games fun, so I know what features I want my game to have, but painting the final picture gives me a lot of grief. And no matter how wickedly cool each feature I add is, I always have this returning phobia that my finished game will not be fun to play.

I'm not offering to be a sidekick (unless somone has money [wink]), but I thought it should be brought to light that there are people like me out here. Though if these people are as obsessed as I am, they most likely won't be browsing the help-wanted forums. I've never been there.
